About TPC

We are a Marketing and Consulting Agency, Tough Pickle Creative. We believe in simplicity, strategy, and impact.

We are looking for an Account Manager to establish long-term relationships with our clients,  oversee client projects and secure new client opportunities.

As an Account Manager, you will be tasked with end-to-end understanding of the client’s brand, making sure that client content gets done on time, and knowing how to present/report on analytics – what’s working and what’s not. 

Account Manager – Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for clients
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Manage projects with clients
  • Manage expectations of the client 
  • Communicate client needs and expectations to the team
  • Coordinate with team to ensure consistent service
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Help the team with company-wide strategic planning
  • Upsell TPC’s services and solutions

Account Manager – Requirements

  • Must be available to work 7am – 3pm PST 
  • Must speak fluent English 
  • Be friendly, professional, and personable 
  • Hands-on experience in account management with Western clients. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills; ability to communicate the direction and status of a project 
  • Manage client expectations
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of SEO, Content Development,and Social Media Management. 
  • Must know how to use a positive language
  • Be deadline driven and able to stick to a schedule (non-negotiable skill)
  • Must be able to manage team deliverables and communicate client needs to team members clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and proficiency in project management tools
  • Problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Experience in creating project reports and plan of actions (ability to note when a project is at risk and make suggestions and prevent delays on projects)
  • Experience in making strategic content recommendations

Job Type: Temporary with potential for long-term

About the Hiring Process

  • We will test hire 2-3 shortlisted applicants for this position 
  • The shortlisted applicants will be on a 30-day test period
  • The successful candidate will assume the role for 6 to 7 months after which we will determine if the position will be long-term
  • The unsuccessful candidates may be considered for other roles if suitable with their skills and experience or may be contacted after 6 to 7 months

Work Environment

This is a remote position, taking over a team member going on leave. You will be working with Operations, Production Manager, and SEO/Content Manager to coordinate the client’s needs and expectations. 

Being communicative and honest are non-negotiable at TPC.
